Toronto, Ontario -- April 28, 2011 Ring of Fire Resources Inc. (the "Company" or "ROF") (TSX-V:ROF, FRANKFURT: RG5, OTC.PK:HWKPF) announces that it approved the grant of 2,893,000 options to officers, directors, service providers and consultants to ROF. 1,266,000 of these options were granted to directors and officers of ROF, and the balance of 1,627,000 options were granted to consultants and service providers. Each option has a three year term and is exercisable for one common share of the Company at an exercise price of $0.15 per share.
